Request for Proposal for Graphics for the
Welcome to Swanton Signs
The Town of Swanton is seeking bids for graphics for the Welcome to Swanton Signs. The graphic should incorporate some of the physical features of Swanton such as the dam, Lake Champlain, the Village Green, Downtown buildings such as Library, Town Office etc., and or farming/countryside.
The graphic portion of the sign would be approximately 20”x35”.
See attached sign example, graphic would be placed in the shaded area.
Graphic proposals should be submitted in a PDF format. The proposal should include the price of work, and an estimated time that need to complete.
Included in the proposal there should be three samples of work accomplished by the submitter.

All proposals shall be due on Friday February 14, 2025 by 4:00 p.m. by U.S. Mail, hand delivery, or parcel delivery (no emails or faxes will be accepted) (proposals must arrive at the Town Office Building by the deadline) to the address below:

The award of the contract to a firm to perform the work will be made on technical merit, estimated time frame, and responsiveness to the scope of requirements listed above. Comparative cost estimates will be considered but will not be the sole basis for selection of the bidder. The Town of Swanton reserves the right to reject any or all bids received, to negotiate with any qualified bidder, and to cancel in part or entirely this Request for Bids if it determines that it is not in the best interest of the Town of Swanton. This solicitation in no way obligates the Town of Swanton to award a contract to any firm responding to this Request for Bids. Ten percent of the total cost will be withheld after a satisfactory inspection of the project.
