VILLAGE OF SWANTON MUNICIPAL BUILDING 3-ACRE STORMWATER IMPROVEMENTS INVITATION TO BID Krebs and Lansing Consulting Engineers End of Invitation to Bid INVITATION TO BID INVITATION TO BID The Village of Swanton, Vermont, herein called the Owner, invites separate sealed bids for site improvements located on their property at 120 First Street in Swanton, Vermont. This project generally consists of three-acre stormwater improvements for the construction of a bioretention treatment practice on the north end of the site, grading and creation of a shallow drainage swale along the west side of the property, and construction of a gravel wetland at the south end of the property. Proposals for Bids will be received by the Village of Swanton until 2:00 pm on Friday, April 26th, 2024 at 120 First Street, Swanton, Vermont 05488, and at said time and place will be publicly opened and read aloud. A mandatory Site Contractor walk-through will be held in the front parking lot of the Swanton Municipal Building at 120 First Street on Wednesday, April 3rd, 2024, at 10:00 am. The contract documents may be examined at the walk-through or by email request in advance. Requests for contract documents may be emailed to Heidi BritchValenta at hbvalenta@swanton.net and Derick Read at derick.read@krebsandlansing.com. Digital copies of the bid documents will be sent via email after the pre-bid walk through to companies who attend the mandatory walkthrough. Hard copies (plans only) may be obtained for $15 from Krebs & Lansing’s office at 164 Main Street in Colchester upon request. Construction is anticipated for the summer 2024 season with substantial completion by October 15th, 2024. The owner reserves the right to waive any informalities in or to reject any or all bids.
